About Us

Tēnā Koe, I'm a registered nurse with a passion for Rongoā, the traditional Māori healing practice, which I discovered during my nursing training. My journey deepened with a level 4 certificated in Rongoā from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa in 2020. 

Kura Road Naturals is named after the road where my Nan and extended whanau lived, a special place from my childhood.

I am of Nga Rauru Kiitahi and Greek descent.

At Kura Road Naturals, I believe in : Simplicity: Using straightforward natural ingredients. Sustainability : Harvesting methods that respect te taiao. Selfcare : Encouraging everyone to prioritise their well-being. I follow tikanga practices when harvesting my kawakawa.

I choose to use coconut oil in my balms for its skin benefits and time tested efficacy. Also used for centuries, coconut oil is renowned for its deep moisturizing properties, helping to hydrate and nourish the skin. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly.
